Let’s tell stories!
Bonnie Bagdon is a storyteller and solo performer who began telling stories to juries thirty years ago as a trial lawyer. She now enjoys telling stories before groups of more than twelve.
She has performed at venues throughout the Chicagoland area, including Goodman Theatre’s Citywide program and Lobby Stories; Lifeline Theatre’s Fillet of Solo Festival with “Essential Workers,” a story collective she formed, and with Goodman’s GenNarrations’ storytelling collective; in Yippie Fest at Chopin Theater; and in curated shows with Story Lab, Is This a Thing?, Let Me Tell You!, and Serving the Sentence; and at Story Sessions, Do Not Submit, and Word Salad.
She is excited to be performing Mrs. President at the 16th Street Theater for the North Berwyn Park District. Researching and writing this piece has truly been a labor of love, as Lincoln was the greatest storyteller of all our presidents and also a trial lawyer.
