Let’s tell stories!

Bonnie Bagdon began telling stories to juries thirty years ago as a trial lawyer. She now enjoys performing for groups of more than twelve as a storyteller and solo performer.
Bonnie is excited to be performing Mrs. President at the Bughouse Theater 1910 W Irving Park Rd, 25 April at 2 PM. Researching and writing this piece has truly been a labor of love, as Lincoln was the greatest storyteller of all our presidents and also a fellow trial lawyer.
Bonnie’s previous productions include Yippie Fest (2024), Berger Park Cultural Center (2024, directed by Eileen Tull), and 16th Street Theater in Berwyn (2025, directed by Liam Collier).
Recent Chicagoland credits include Lobby Stories (Goodman Theatre), the Fillet of Solo Festival (Lifeline Theatre), and Yippie Fest (Chopin Theater). Bonnie has also performed with the Goodman’s GenNarrations’ storytelling collective, Story Sessions, Do Not Submit, and Word Salad; and in curated shows with Story Lab, Is This a Thing?, Let Me Tell You!, and Serving the Sentence. In 2023, Bonnie became a founding member of the storytelling collective “Essential Workers.”
